2010: I’ve been invited by a Scientology minister named David Miscavige to speak at Scientology’s church in Los Angeles. Sheriff Lee Baca will be there as well. Maybe I will get to meet Tom Cruise, Kirstie Alley, and my favorite actor Danny Masterson from That 70’s Show! How cool is this?!

2016: OMG! I’m on President-Elect Biden’s short list of VP candidates!

2016: OMG! Kamala Harris’ people are using video of that Scientology event back in 2010 to associate me Scientology! This is horrible!

9/25/2022: OMG! Rick Caruso’s people are using video of that Scientology event back in 2010 in their TV ads to associate me Scientology! This is a nightmare!

9/26/2022: I publicly denounced Scientology. Everyone knows Karen Bass condemns Scientology.

9/27/2022: The internet is calling Scientology “The Church of Karen.” This is so not true. Everyone knows Karen Bass is a Baptist and attends the same church as the Baptist minister Rev. Alfreddie Johnson.

10/1/2022: Scientologists are protesting in front of my campaign headquarters calling me a bigot! Most of them are elderly and using walkers.

10/1/2022: The Scientology protest fizzled after 15 minutes due to the protesters being exhausted; falling down and not being able to get up; or needing their oxygen bottles. Why they all still chain smoke cigarettes at their age makes no sense to me.

10/2/2022: Rev. Cecil Murray called and offered to help me understand Scientology better and to suggest that I retract my condemnation of Scientology.

10/2/2022: Former LAPD Captain Corey Palka called and offered to help me understand Scientology better and to suggest that I retract my condemnation of Scientology.

10/2/2022: Tom Cruise called and offered to help me understand Scientology better and to suggest that I retract my condemnation of Scientology. Tom Cruise even offered to give me a ride in his Honda Jet with someone called “COB” so we could talk.

10/2/2022: Kirstie Alley called and offered to help me understand Scientology better and to suggest that I retract my condemnation of Scientology.

10/2/2022: A lawyer from Scientology called me and said that if I retracted my condemnation of Scientology he would give me evidence that Rick Caruso is a child molester and a cokehead.
